The Ulverscroft Foundation funds overseas projects that help visually impaired people via organisations based in the UK or overseas.

A few examples are: the building of the Korle Bu Eye Centre in Accra in Ghana; World Sight Foundation, training nurses in Lesotho; Kenya Albino Child Support Unit in Kenya which helps children and young adults with albinism; the Ruharo Eye Centre treating eye patients in Uganda, John Fawcett Foundation in Bali to carry out eye operations on children and adults with cataracts.
