Money raised helps Kenya Albino Child Support (KACSU)

November 10, 2017

KACSU is based in Kenya and cares for and educates children with albinism, a condition where the skin lacks pigment. Because of this people with albinism have no natural protection from the sun.

Other symptoms of albinism are eye problems including nystagmus and photophobia. Sadly in some parts of the world people with albinism are persecuted and discriminated against.

Following the sudden death of our Chair David Owen in 2017 his family requested that donations in lieu of flowers went to KACSU, the money was used to provide play equipment and books for the children of KACSU. We are pleased to announce additional financial support for a water infrastructure project
